INTERACTIVE MODEL
Fiscal Control Panel
A population-scale household microsimulation of the platform's funding architecture. It computes, for a synthetic-but-calibrated cross-section of U.S. households, how the new revenue mechanisms — the graduated income surcharge, the wealth surcharge, and the wealth tax — add up to national revenue, and shows the behavioral uncertainty band around that estimate. The sliders recompute the mechanisms and the band live in your browser.
WHAT THIS IS — AND IS NOT
This is a scenario-exploration and transparency tool, not a validated
forecast. Household net worth is calibrated to the Federal Reserve
Survey of Consumer Finances tail; non-wage income is seeded from published
IRS Statistics of Income tables; wages and composition use a CPS-shaped
backbone. The policy rates are the platform's own figures, and the four
behavioral parameters are literature ranges pending outside review. The panel
is regenerated from the model on every deployment, so it stays current with
the code — but it does not feed any platform claim until the underlying data
is fully real and the levers are calibrated. The full method and its
known limitations are documented in the package's
microsimulation/METHODOLOGY.md.
THE MODEL
If the panel does not load, open it in its own tab. The panel is self-contained and runs entirely in your browser.
