How to reach out

EMAIL

Primary contact

The single inbox for all inquiries — general questions, corrections, review submissions, press, or anything else.

contact@wethepeopleplatform.com

Please indicate the topic in the subject line. For time-sensitive inquiries (media, policy professional consultation, missed-commitment reports), include the word urgent in the subject — this triggers a two-business-day response threshold per the Service-Level Agreement.

ISSUE TRACKER

GitHub Issues

For bug reports, content corrections, broken links, calculation errors, or any other concrete issue you'd like to log publicly and have tracked to resolution.

Repository URL — pending public release

The platform's GitHub repository is being prepared for public access. The Issues tab will become the standard place to log reproducible problems. Email submissions are equally welcome in the meantime.

SOCIAL MEDIA

Platform accounts

Platform-branded social media accounts (X, LinkedIn, and potentially Bluesky) are planned but not yet active.

Until those accounts are live, the email channel above is the most reliable way to reach the author. This section will be updated when accounts are created.

WHAT TO EXPECT

Response time commitments

Every commitment below is documented in detail on the Service-Level Agreement.

Type of inquiryResponse within
Automated acknowledgment (when contact form is live)5 minutes
Standard inquiry — substantive response5 business days
Time-sensitive inquiry (subject contains urgent)2 business days
Reported error — initial triage2 business days
Critical error fix5 business days from triage
Significant error fix10 business days from triage

Business days are Monday through Friday, excluding U.S. federal holidays. If a commitment is not met, please flag it via email — reports of missed commitments are themselves treated as time-sensitive.

CONSTRUCTIVE FEEDBACK

What kind of feedback is helpful

The platform's Iterative Hardening Process describes how feedback gets incorporated into successive versions. The most useful feedback identifies a specific paragraph or assumption that the reader believes is wrong, and explains why — ideally with a citation, a worked counter-example, or a reference to a peer-reviewed source.

The Open Issues Registry tracks every architectural decision the platform has made, with cross-references to the analysis that produced the decision. If your concern relates to a specific decision, referencing the OIR section number in your message lets the response engage with the same evidentiary record.

For credentialed external review of a specific open analytical item, the Open Questions page documents the engagement specifications, what reviewers receive, and how to engage.

SCOPE LIMITS

What kind of engagement is not appropriate

The platform is not a political campaign, not a fundraising vehicle, not an organizing tool. Please do not contact the author with campaign-finance solicitations, organizing requests, partisan media inquiries, or unsolicited commercial offers.

The author is also not the right channel for general civic-engagement questions about policies similar to those in the platform — for those, your elected representatives and local civic organizations are better positioned than a platform proposal author.

Subscribe to changelog updates

To receive email notifications when the platform's changelog updates with substantive changes, send a message to contact@wethepeopleplatform.com with the subject line "Subscribe to changelog."

You will be added to a notification list and will receive periodic emails (typically one to four per month) summarizing recent platform changes. The summary points to the changelog entries, with brief plain-language descriptions of the changes; recipients can read further on the platform.

To unsubscribe at any time, send a message to the same address with the subject line "Unsubscribe from changelog." Removal is processed within five business days per the platform's response SLA.

The subscription list is maintained directly by the maintainer rather than through an automated marketing platform; list contents are not shared, sold, or used for any purpose other than changelog notifications.
